Teneligliptin is used for the treatment of type 2 diabetesÂ mellitus. It belongs to a group of medicines called dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors. It works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas, which helps lower the blood glucose levels in the body.
Common side effects of Teneligliptin includes headache, hypoglycaemia in combination with insulin sulphonylurea,Â nausea,Â vomiting, nasopharyngitis,Â stomach painÂ andÂ upper respiratory tract infections. Inform your doctor if youÂ have ever been diagnosed with kidney orÂ liver problems. If you experience severeÂ joint painÂ or allergic reactions, stop taking the medicine and inform your doctor.
