Sompraz 40 MG Tablet is used in the treatment of conditions caused by excessive production of acid in the stomach. The conditions may include erosive esophagitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Helicobactor pylori infections and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (tumours in the pancreas or in the upper part of the small intestine). Apart from that, Sompraz 40 MG Tablet can also help in preventing stomach ulcer that is caused due to the consumption of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID).The medication is available as a delayed-release capsule or in the form of a liquid suspension.
